Kennedy Reese is 3!!!! Wow time has flown!!

This past Saturday we had Kennedy's 3rd birthday party.  I cannot believe it has been 3 years already!!  We rented a big bounce house with a water slide and had cake, ice cream, and tons of family and friends over.  Who knew Kennedy was so popular!  She had a blast with all her friends.  They jumped, swam and slid all day.

Kennedy was so excited watching them set up the jumper.  She had no idea what it was they were putting together for her.

Marli our fearless dog watching them to.

And it's UP!!!!

So before all the guests made it I broke out the camera and my macro lense.  I love playing with that lense!

So I got this idea off of Pinterest.  Take the number candle and put it in a jar of candy.  I had to use Kennedy's favorite.....M & M's!!!!  She should really do a commercial for them.  It's hillarious to watch her eat them.

Her cake!!!
It turned out so cute!  Mrs. Tanya Cumbest made it of course and I think this was the best one yet.  It was so moist and good!!!

So what better to have at a monkey party than banana pudding......

AND.... Banana splits!!!!

So begins the weekend full of fun in the sun.  I think this bounce house was the best one yet!!  Kennedy wasn't having anything to do with the slide.  She only wanted to play in the pool and jump!

Taylor of course had no fear of the slide.  Before the party Gordon and myself decided to try it out to.  Let me just say you FLY down that thing!!!!!  It was a lot of fun.

Marli was tuckered out!  She was in the water herself and Sunday went down the slide with Gordon's help.

This picture turned out so good with Cole looking at me.  I love it when I catch them looking at the camera!

Kennedy loves having play dates with Karleigh.  They have so much fun together.

Cooper!

Time for presents!  She loved all of them.

She had to take a picture standing by each one of them before she unwrapped them.

So after jumping, sliding, eating, presents and cake these two girls were tuckered out.  It amazed me how well they slept with all the noise around them.

Taylor is such a great big brother.  Kennedy adores him.  He was trying his hardest to get her to slide.  This is as far as he could get her.

Jaxon and Sophie came by for the after party.  Marli just knew Sophie's squeaky shoes were toy for her.  She was hilarious to watch.

As you can see Kennedy had a great birthday party.  I am writing this the beginning of August and she still looks out the windows to the backyard and asks where her jumper is.  She begs for it!  She ended up on the slide all day Sunday.  I took her up kicking and screaming to slide with me.  She went down several times then it was Daddy's turn except she went with him and he pushed her down on her own.  That was all it took.  She was up and down that slide all day.  I didn't even mention nap time.  She just played all day.  We enjoyed it so much.

Gordon's birthday is coming up in September!  Wonder what he wants for it?!

Vacation Time!!!

This year we went to Destin Fl for 7 days.  Woo Hoo!!! Talk about having some fun.  Gordon and myself left on a Friday for a weekend of relaxation for our 5th anniversary.  Then Jean and Harry came down on Sunday with the kids.  The weather was great.  We thought at first that Tropical Storm Debby was going to rain on our parade but she only hung around on Sunday.

It's a lot when you have to pack for 4!  Espcially on the way back home after shopping.
This above didn't include the 2 sets of golf clubs that had to go to!  You can see Kennedy's above though.  She loves to play along with Daddy and Taylor.  You should see her form! LOL

Pensacola Bridge

This is the Emerald Grande.  It is such a great place to stay.  It overlooks the Destin Harbor.

This was the view from our balcony.  Above are the charter boats going out Saturday morning.  The Destin Harbor is busy from sun up to sun down.  All day Saturday while laying out by the pool we watched the boats.

These are a couple pictures from Sunday.  This was Debby coming through.  We rode around looking at the beach and she completely took it over.  I only got a couple pictures because of the rain.

Once everyone else made it down Sunday we headed to our condo for the week.  We stayed somewhere different with the kids.  It had a 9 hole golf course on it that the guys were at daily.

This was shortly before Kennedy knocked herself out.  She is a live wire that NEVER slows down and this day it caught up with her.  She climbed up on a bench and before anyone could get to her she slung herself down and hit the concrete.  Scared us to death!!  Needless to say we headed back to the condo.  Thank goodness no harm done and she was completely fine!

I would love to bring our boat one year and get one of the condos with a boat dock.  I told Gordon that next year I want to get the kids out to Crab Island.

Taylor is really good.  He got a set of golf clubs this past Christmas so he was able to get plenty of practice in.

Kennedy playing in the sand traps.

This is the Harbor that the Condos are on.  I left out early one morning while the guys were golfing and the kids were watching cartoons with Jean to catch a few pictures.

This rainbow came out while we were walking with the golfers.

It was such a pretty sky this afternoon!

This picture was taken at the outdoor mall they have.

Taylor loved walking around to watch all of the charter boats clean their catch for the day.  He would make his way right up to them.  I think we could have just left him there and he would have been happy.

This is the ceiling in AJ's.  A great place to eat!

This guy was a little farther down the harbor walk.  He was making balloon animals and both kids couldn't wait to get theirs.  Taylor got an alien and Kennedy got a poodle.  They lucked up getting in line when they did because about 3 kids after us he had to stop.  He said his mommy wanted him home.

This was looking up at the Emerald Grande.

One morning Gordon and I snuck out before anyone else woke up to walk the beach.

I have more pictures I will try to get on here tomorrow! But for now I have a little girl that is sleepy!
